Due to the fact that Chromebooks aren't going home this year, we have created a form for you to fill out if your child needs the device at home for Lexia or IXL use. Please complete this form if you would like your child to bring home his/her device for school use. 

Here is a link to signup to send/bring something to the Halloween party on Halloween at 2:00. Feel free to add items to the list. This was just a start to make sure we had everything covered. Please make sure that students wear costumes that they can learn in all day with minimal distractions. Masks & accessories should stay in backpacks until the party and parade. Thank you!

Mrs. Kirshenbaum is working to schedule the class party we won from Laps for Lincoln. More information to come about the pizza party and animal visit!

Here are some important things to know:

  • students should be reading their good fit book every night & bookmarks should be initialed/signed 
  • planners should be checked and can be signed every night to keep our communication strong
  • please make sure your child has headphones/earbuds if possible(I have extras and will assign them to specific kids)
  • there are no specials on late start days
  • kids need a water bottle and healthy snack every day

                                                         Conferences are this week! Please click  here  to check your day & time. The kids have been working hard to complete their slides to present at the conferences. Due to the short time we have together & the length of the slides, I will most likely have you finish up your conference with your child in the hallway after our time is up. Last year the kids could finish at home, but with the Chromebooks staying here, that gets a little tricky. I will set up a desk with some chairs. Thanks for understanding! November 14 - 18

                                                         This week begins the student council stuff-a-truck food donation collection.  Students are encouraged to bring any non-perishable food items to school each day. For a friendly competition, there will be a pizza party for the lower & upper el classes with the most donations. Thanks for your help in supporting our community! The Winn Dixie movie reward was a huge success! During the movie, kids were naturally comparing the movie to the book. It was fantastic to hear that the book was better and had more details! We enjoyed popcorn, pickles, Dump punch, and root beer & strawberry candy. Thanks to those who sent in items & thanks to Maggie for making & serving the punch!
