February 27 - March 3

                                                     hey gang

For those of you who are interested in having your child work on math at home, last week we did unit 6 - lessons 1-3. This week we will be covering unit 6 - lessons 4 - 8. Practice using the IXL textbook would be beneficial to understanding this new concept of multiplying larger numbers.

Friday is the last day of the 2nd trimester, so we will be wrapping up any necessary assessments and performing reader's theater plays. We will also have a read-in, so kids may wear comfy clothes and bring blankets. We will discuss Friday's plans during our class meeting tomorrow, so any changes will be in the student planners.

Please remember to schedule a time to conference with your child in the next couple of weeks at home. Let me know if your child needs the Chromebook for the conference and also let me know when the conference is complete. It's so exciting to see all the progress these kids are making as a product of their hard work and goals!
